The Malaysian Diagnostic Radiographers Conference (MDRC) is a highly impactful professional conference that plays a crucial role in fostering evidence-based practice and enhancing the interest of Diagnostic Radiographers in research methods. This conference serves as a platform to unlock creativity and innovation within the profession through the presentation of research findings. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas and share intellectual knowledge with experts in the field.

The conference was first introduced on August 24 and 25, 2019, marking an important step in empowering the medical imaging field in Malaysia. Following the success of its inaugural event, the Training and Technical Committee of the Diagnostic Radiographer Profession under the Allied Health Sciences Division (BSKB), in collaboration with the Malaysian Society of Radiographers (MSR), decided that MDRC would become an annual event.

Through the continued organization of MDRC, it is hoped that more Diagnostic Radiographers will benefit from the knowledge shared, enhance their skills, and strengthen their professional network in the field of medical imaging, not only within Malaysia but also at the regional and international levels.
